Bimmer32, do you know what hardware was different versus reuseable for the Mtech bumper to fit? I bought a used OEM M5 bumper that is great shape for less than $100 and it was just the bumper. No headlight squirters, tow cover, mounting brackets, lower grille, fogs, nothing. Any help from anyone would be appreciated. I have an '08 LCI 535i. Thanks!

 

The M5 bumper is a bit wider than the regular e60/mtech bumper. Unless you have m5 fenders, you may experience some fitting issues. The headlight washer cover, tow cover and all that accessories you named above can be purchase separately, but it will run close to $200 not including the time consuming part of searching for the part numbers. And the M5 bumper does not and will not accommodate for fog lights. You best bet is to get an Mtech bumper if you want to go with OEM or get a replica (I personally do not prefer, but many members have gotten good results). Better yet, get the whole kit for around 1350 plus shipping of 175.

 

Sweet ride. Wow that's your backyard? I can't tell how much longer your back yard extends to but, In SoCal, they would fit a few houses in your backyard space. lol.

 

Great mods, it makes the E60 stand out so much better. I just dislike the 528 and 535 with the small 16/17 rims.

By the way where did you get the rear bumper/spoiler done? Just a regular body shop.

I actually have an '09 550i Sport bumper..I stand corrected. I got some used fogs and brackets for less than $15! I priced out the lower grille, the side supports, washer covers, tow hook cover, fog light covers, grille grids, and brake ducts and it came to a little over $270! I agree with you though, there is nothing like OEM- or else I wouldnt be going through all this! All I need to do is find a set of reasonably priced OEM 172's and i'll be good to go!
