I am interested in sourcing feedback from the forums regarding different trunk options. If either a modified CSL trunk, Ericsson type, or Lumma type trunk was made available, which would you like to see come into fruition?
Also, what would you reasonably pay to acquire one? I understand everyone wants to pay the lowest price possible, but please keep in mind production costs and freight that needs to be factored in.
Do you guys want CF? FRP? etc?
So what do you guys think?

Lumma. Only drawback is it doesn't fit US plates.
For modified CSL trunk. You should make it fit US plates also while you're at it.
CF all the way.
+1 Ericsson has the plate cutout that fits US plates.

So far everyone seems to prefer the Ericsson trunk.
Also, do you guys want it as CF or FRP-type material for those who want to fully paint the trunk?

I don't mind the look of all 3 styles, I think the most important thing would be to make sure there is a US license plate version and a good price and I think you will have decent sales. Because you are creating a knock off CF trunk of some design I would think the $600 range is reasonable.

Considering the trunk will be for mainly US customers, making it fit US plates is definitely something that will be put into account.
I understand your rationale regarding paying replica prices for a replica product, but also keep in mind, the Ericsson trunk costs around $6000. The lowest quote I've received for it was $5000 cash price. If priced at around $750, the replica would cost 15% of the real deal.

my vote is for the ericson trunk. but damn, for 5000 cash as the lowest, not worth it at all. I rather get a seibon carbon trunk instead on ebay or something. just my two cents.
