The whole thing - Centric drilled and slotted rotors and Hawk HPS pads, sensors (bought from BMW of Newport) is just over 600 pesos. On top of that, you've got the installation - if you DIY, obviously, free, but quotes I've gotten vary from 120 to 400 plus tax. Did not even want to ask the dealer for a quote lol. But I'll probably end up going to my low-tech indie mechanic here in Brooklyn - simply because the young'un he's got doing work out there now is a real pro and a true BMW fan. I'll give him a huge tip and take care of the owner with a nice bottle of something, so all in all... errr... about 800 bucks or so

The brakes are in and installed, errors cleared and car is READY So far they feel mushy, but that is to be expected from brand new brakes. Gonna drive them a couple of hundred miles and then bed them in - that's when the results should be evident.

No pics yet, but they look gorgeous "under" my 18 inch 123s

Full report to come later (when I paint the calipers )

Even early on, I'm convinced this setup is off the hinges - way better than the stock setup, which costs about the same (if not more) money. My guys at the indie shop (all enthusiasts themselves) had nothing but praise for Centrics. One of the guys said he went to Centrics after Brembos and never looked back!

Anthony told me that Hawk HPS pads feel numb, but I'm still hoping that breaking them in and then bedding them in will bring them up to their proper operating state. These are "semi" racing pads, so it is expected that they need a little more "attention" than your grand-daddy's pads.

I'll be reporting more as I get more experience with these
