I went to BMW to order the titanium center console piece and was denied! :'(

The 2005 parts CD was on its way to them and they had plenty of pieces to choose from but none would fit my car with my options. When the CD comes in they are going to have another go at it. Wish me luck.

That's ridiculous! The part HAS TO BE orderable!
Make them search harder, it is there! All E60's get the trim piece in the lower center console now, so it has to be in their system! What do they do if they get one like yours, but MY2005, and make scratches on the trim? Where do they get the part from? right... BMW... It's in there...
Good luck with your lazy dealer!

We need to get the actual part numbers. Rudy, you have access to the technical stuff -- are they listed there?

Some of the trim pieces are loaded. The only thing is, they do not have the CD for MY2005. I looked at what they had and it would not list the option. I hope the MY2005 parts CD will list for the rear console trim in titanium.

I have to take mine in 6 Oct for computer upgrade. When I went over to get the appointment I thought I stop by parts for grins and giggles to see if they could get the part and how much. No luck. Guy searched for 30 minutes. Even got the books and saw the MY 2005 part. He tried but no luck. Said it was BMW individual and he had to contact Munich to get the part number. However, someone else posted the part number for Anthricite here with a pic so I gave it to him. He ordered it, waiting for it to come in. Hope its the right piece.

I posted on another question that I did see the part. It was the wrong color. The upper half was black and I needed gray. The parts department is going back to get the right color. I believe they are now on the right track and should have no problems getting the piece. Its the install that I'm now worried about.

The install does look like it could be pretty tricky. More labour
