If I buy a used cd changer from Ebay can I install it into my car?
How do I now that the changer can play mp3 files? Is it possible to use the newest cd changer in a 2004/11 made e60?

You can install it on your car but you need dealer to program it. None of CD changer for E60 can play MP3 as we speak. BMW might come up with new software later on to support MP3 function, but not now. Only indash single CD player can play MP3 for some cars
