My M5 had a cargo net in the trunk/boot and my new baby does not. It helps keep the briefcase from sliding around
Has anybody added one? I suppose you can get them from the parts department are your favorite dealer.
TIA

Yes, I have one. Very useful as you noted for keeping things from sliding around the trunk. And I did get mine from the parts dept. but it was some time ago and I don't recall what I paid.

I got mine off of ebay for 22.99 +5.99sh. This is the email of the person I bought it from: davidhonlco@mac.com. Calls himself "cargonets".
I'm not really convinced of its usefullness. I don't use it much.

The cargo net was a must for me along with the trunk liner...I've spilled food in previous cars. The liner helps for clean-up and the net helps hold the containers of food...lots of parties. Got both through the dealer.

Thanks for the tip! I will do the same. What is the ideal length of your bungee cords?.

Same cheap solution here: 60-80 cm. worked very fine with me.

I've seen some people selling it in Ebay for about 30 bucks. Try to do some research about it.

This has been my solution. These tarp straps are cheap, versatile and strong. I have hauled everything from laptop, water melons, beer, and a multitude of other stuff that I did not want flying around while cornering or braking.
