I did some practicing and figured out that a ton of heat is the answer to get the edges perfect though lol

I ordered som 3M adhesion promoter for the interior edges of the trim pieces. Just wanted to know if you also use that stuff?

no, I didnt use any of that stuff, just cleaned down all the pieces with alchol pads. As long as you heat the material and pull on it, it will stick to any surface, some spots you will need to hold it longer, I usually just tape it and after an hour its good to go. just need patience and you'll b fine. If you have any questions, feel free to PM.

White535xi, I live a few...well quite a few states away. I was thinking about trying this out on a few smaller pieces of trim. Approximately how many square feet did it take to cover all of the trim pieces? I am also concerned about nicking the wrap. Is it prone to nicking and subsequently scrunching up the wrap? If so, how easy is it to remove this wrap, clean up the residue and re-wrap it, like does it need anything special or will rubbing alcohol be sufficient?
I had thought about just getting my interior pieces painted a matte or gloss black. After seeing this and the amazing quality you have done, I'm seriously reconsidering. Good work!!!

Sorry about the late reply, but for your whole interior you will need 4ft x 2ft in material. As long as you heat the material up and keep pulling it will be find. You will need patience. If it scrunches up, just heat it and it will come undone. Yes, you can simply pull the vinyl right off with out any problems.

I want this done in So Cal, but no one will remove the trim. If anyone will remove the trim and wrap you have a customer ready to go

Fantastic and very inspirational! Well done. I was thinking of buying the carbon fiber trim, but this has given me another option.
