carbon fiber hood

i am thinking to get a carbon fiber hood, want to know what do you guys think about it?
my car is white, what style of cf hood should i get
and should i leave it black or paint it white?

do i need to install hood pins? or not necessary?

seibon oem hood is what i have, i like it and it fits very close to oem

i never used hoodpins but anyshop will tell you that you should, but its really up to you

I think it looks great, but his car looks bad ass anyway. Go for it, looks great on white cars

+1 Vorstiener hood is nice, but pricey

still thinking if i should get vented hood, dont want to get too much water into on heavy rain day
but i know it is good for hot air to come out

Rogue Octane SSK/WSR and Zeckhausen CDV, BMW illuminated shift knob, Delivered 4/26/06 - Ordered 3/18/06 from Otto's (the Best) BMW Dealership.

Here's another option from Andy (Trader NAS) and I have no affiliation other than I'm a customer. Looks great in Mystic Blue and it gets complimented all the time. No water problems either.

PM Andy Truong (Trader NAS on eBay) for a quote. Mine was gorgeous with clear coat CF as shipped- beautiful and perfect needing nothing. But I'm too conservative and wanted it color matched so it did need some prep. I love the look though and wouldn't change it. If I get near a NYC event I'll make sure to let you know.

BTW- the "M" stripes are gone from the front grill- got a lot of hate mail on that one... and I may have the only Penta hood out there- haven't seen another on this site. Come on!
