Finally got around to painting my valve covers this weekend. Thanks to everyone who helped in guiding me how to remove the covers. Turned out to be very easy, but as a novice I try and be sure I have somewhat of a clue what I'm doing before I start tearing things apart.

Well here are the pics, I think the covers turned out great, really love the contrast with the black and silver.

I masked off BMW and then used a High Temp. Satin Black spray paint

I had purchased a SEIBON Carbon Fiber Engine Cover from trader-nas a few weeks back. It looks so much better with the black valve covers compared to the stock grey.
The pics are not so great it's raining so the shots are from inside my garage.
Enjoy!

Thanks guys. An easy mod, but I think it really made a difference. Doesn't seem that bad in person but those pics really emphasize how dirty my engine is .

It looks nice, are you going to mount a BMW roundel on the CF cover??

Not sure of the size I would need, but ya, I think that would finish it up nicely.
