use a screwdriver or other long tool wrapped in a towel to pry off the old ones and then push in the new ones. There is no adhesive, they just have two prongs on the back that stick in rubber grommets in the hood. Very easy DIY, but they are a pain to pry off.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I just ordered the carbon fiber emblems!

So now I have black grills, black 530i badge, and black and silver carbon fiber emblems for the hood, trunk, and wheels! And I thought I was finished...

I just purchased black grills and a black 530i badge to replace the chrome. (waiting for shipment)

I was thinking about adding these carbon fiber emblems to my car too. Here is just an example of what I am talking about. I would be getting them for all of the emblems on the car including my center caps. What does everyone think?

Does anyone have any pics of these emblems on their Silver Grey Metallic car? Thanks ahead of time!

Where does one purchase a black grill for a 2008 E60? I think I would entertain the switch as I like the look.

short aside here: These Ebay guys should be giving us all sorts of free products and commissions, because we are like the guinea pigs for their products. One of us takes a chance, orders some CF grill or something from Vietnam, and then after we install it, we post pics all over this site and generate new sales. This forum is the best free advertising in the world for the ebay sellers.
