My only concern would be heat dissipation. If you intend to use your brakes hard, the covers could limit the cooling of the calipers/rotors. Probably not, but it might cause you problems with the warantee if your BMW service people see this modification and you have a brake problem.
I don't understand why a car as expensive as the 545 uses calipers that rust and look like crap after a year. They could at least paint them.

Is the use of carbon fibre not out of context?? I have not seen CF used to make a brake caliper on any other make or in racing. I can agree with body mods and trim cos thats where it is likely to be seen...my ten bobs worth

My Ride: 2005 525i Titanium Silver Metalic and 2003 325xi Jet Black with the Premium Package in both cars.
