I do hardly belive that it gives you +16 HP
I know the brand BMC they are reputable and known but for my diesel no need
if you like it or just the look.But intakes are for better breathings even if you have a bit gain. chargers are different story and also price

Like you say itis only for looks, this is what I think.
I got a K&N and I think itis just as good, even better because only cost $60us
