that "sandpaper" effect only occurs when the weather is wet?

The car looks a lot better with the tint (3M 50%). Cost me $300.

The clear bra cost $650 and covers the the leading 12" of the hood, lights, bumper, front lip, side mirrors, part of the rear bumper where the trunk opens, and area below the gas cap.

When I went to pick up the car, there was a 325 getting tinted as well and the installer told me that the owner (after seeing the clear-bra on my car) wanted to get it done to his car as well but the installer told him it was too late. His front end was pock-marked and already ruined.

Not likely. A leather bra can ruin a paint job if not properly maintained. That maintenance is time consuming and cannot prevent dulling of the paint to some degree. I ended up only using the leather bras on my long road trips.

The post is referring to Leather (as in the material). I know you guys may get things late but this stuff is late 1970's - mid 1980's pretty much.

My full Colgan vinyl bra from Bavauto.com has premarked holes you can cut out (An industrial sized hole puncher would be good) like a cookie cutter for the PDC holes!

I don't really like bras worn on cold or nippy days or wet t shirt contests.

When it rains i take off her bra while the car is in the garage and i let the bra dry off and the front end of my car dry off also.

Of course i try to hose off and wash the front end and bra to remove all that roadgrime.

But boy what a pain to put on the 2 piece bra about 10 to 20 minutes.
