Firstly I hope that i get a few responses as i'm going to do a huge system here and want to explore all avenue's

My car is a late 2003 E60 530i ( Dark Metal Blue ) installed is the standard 6 speakers ( 4 mid-range in front doors and rear shelf , and 2 subs under the seat ) Business Satnav single DVD slot and I've added a Genuine BMW Glove Box CD Changer ( will be getting BMW Dealers to do a CIP / Progman Update as my'ne is still "E60 MASK MMI Texte I03-12-500 vom 1" , I'm wanting the update for both MP3 playback capablities and text + ipod control and enable CD Changer ( currently CD changer does play but idrive doesn't allow me to change disc unless i let it end the last track )

So far I've ordered the following items, most have arrived already

1. 2 x EarthQuake SWS-8 SubWoofers at 150w RMS
2. Blaupunkt THA 555 pnp Amplifier with the BMW harness leads and extension 5.5Meters
3. Genuine BMW Logic7 Tweeters for the front ( concidering changing to Individual audio instead and sell these off )
4. Genuine BMW brackets for the CD changer, boot amplifier Bracket , DAB tuner Bracket ( i may be using them to hold the pnp amp)
5. Special trim removal tools

I'm undecided on the Speakers for front and back and maybe concider the center stage speaker as well...

1. is BMW Individual Audio Speakers for front and rear including Crossover network and tweeters worth it, does it get the best frequiency and good enough RMS , bass etc for the money and fit in my car the ones that should fit the E60 M5 2007
2. Also would like to put in a JBL MS-8 Digital Sound Processor between the head unit and Blaupunkt AMP and add another amp ( Stereo ) for the uder seat subs , so that the DSP has more control over the subs and the subs will be in stereo bass
3. will be applying sound deadeniong on the front doors ( second skin spectrum ) and dynaXorb behind the mids in the door
4. will in the future add the Sub inclosure you can get for the boot ( dual 12" )

I did the ashtray mod myself. Not really a big deal, time consuming it is though.

If time permits I will make it cleaner by cutting a cover as well.

I noticed too late that you can get a normal inlay to make constructing it a bit easier as cutting the ashtray was a bitch time-wise.
