My Ride: 2005 Alpine White 530i
So... installed it back in June and apparently I did TOO good of a job. Used silicone and double sided 3m tape and for the love of god CAN'T get this thing off my window. Sat outside for 30 minutes warming up (with a very hot hair dryer) one corner to begin peeling it off and couldn't get anywhere. I need to remove it tonight as tomorrow my car goes in to have the roof/antenna/spoiler done in black laminated vinyl and the shop said they could do a much better job on it if it was removed prior to install. Anyone have any ideas on how to remove these things easily?

Use heavy duty waxed dental floss. Star at one end and put wax paper under each section as it comes up to elminate it from resticking itself as you lift it ogg the window. GL !!

The shop I'm using is a very well known window tinting and graphics shop in the area.... I'm paying a little more than I wanted (closer to $350, other shops quoted me $250ish) but they are POSITIVE they can flawlessly do the shark antenna with only one seam and my ac schnitz spoiler so I decided on them. Plus - they have the ability to actually laminate the Avery vinyl which will make it 3x thicker and have an actual plastic-like protective finish to it to add gloss. They said normally, if you don't laminate (which no other shop could do in the area) just running a fingernail over it makes creases/lines/scratches in it, this way it'll be pretty indestructible from your day-to-day stuff. I'm excited to see how it turns out.
Now the question of the day is this - HOW do I get all the adhesive off my window to reapply this thing tomorrow? It's REALLY on there and it's 27 degrees out so working on it is KILLING my hands.
I'll post pictures tomorrow or Sunday
