Its the current trend I guess. M-tech bumper has been around for a long time and alot of members have that on. Get the lummina bumper Praise.

uh oh...
I was really set on the M-Tech kit... but those Umnitza M5 bumpers are starting to look better and better....
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought I read somewhere that the M5 bumpers had fitting issues with the other e60's. Is this the case with the umnitza m5 kit?

this is the exact reason why i have not went with m-tech / umnitza etc... i wish someone would come out with a lip kit or some sort of different front for LCI model and no thanks on the lumna or whatever that thing is called, that looks too much like the m5 front too.... and i had a damn good excuse to swap bumpers since i had a scrape in the front and a hole on my back bumper but i just ended up fixing everything instead.

yeah, it may just be that you put your money into better wheels, exhaust and tires before you do any body mods
I went that route first and my car has turned out to be one mean SOB

lol well look into Seibon and VIS for carbon fiber hoods and trunks
those are my two mods that my shop is working on right now
I would say:
KW V2 coils
Forged wheels: volk, rays, dpe, etc
nitto invo's/ps2/s-02 tires
carbon hood
carbon trunk
rpi exhaust
that setup right there is basically what I have with a few other additions and i get props left and right for taking my time and doing my car correctly
