I was searching on online for countless hours looking for a m5 replica kit, yet sad to say I came upon original m5 bumper, and rear bumper, yet i was wondering what is going to happen to my fog lights if i try to put on that kit because the regular 5 series has fogs and m5 does not? should i go this method thinking i have to repaint them anyway or should i just go for a full set and how much is it going to cost me at the dealership if i decide to get it there? or iceman316 i might just go with the mtech kit if the price is right.

Don't think you can even bolt on an OEM M5 bumper without some major modifications. The dimensions of the M5 & regular E60 vary enough that it's not directly swappable. I believe the fenders would need to be changed as well.
So you should worry about that before even thinking about how to deal with the foglights.
IMO, get a MTech kit, it's a guaranteed fit, and you won't be a poser

Yeah, apparently it can be done but with modifications. You'll have to bend the M5 front bumpers to fit onto the stock e60 fenders. I've seen a few e60s here that have done this. Most will opt to get the M5 fenders to accommodate the M5 front bumper.
As for your fog lights, forget about it unless you want to do more modifications to the M5 front bumpers so that the fogs lights fit.
