Could I pull this off with my 124's? It looks like an awesome cheap mod, if its going to work.

yes, you could easily do the same thing. If you dont have too much experience with paint work, I would suggest getting them powder coated. It shouldn't cost you more than 100 per wheel if they are in good shape without curb rash.

My father owns a painting company, im sure I could make one of his guys do it for me.
I have a little bit of curb rash and a couple deep scratches.
Has anyone done this? If so how does the paint hold up?

I found this to fix my curb rash, just have to get the old tires taken off and Im going to start the project. IF I don't make a deal on a set of 166's I found on CL
