OEM
OEM use Bosch spark plug which can be found in many auto places...
You can also get NGK spark plugs. just do not get those cheap ones that is like $2 per spark plugs but it should be that expensive...
or you can just let bmw install them and i think last time i did they did roughly $120 with parts.

NGK
part number for the Pre 10/2004 M54 I6 motor is #3199 OE or the 6418 Iridium
10/2004 -Current N52N I6 motor are #1208
04-06 545i(all 4.4L) are #3199 or the 6418
06-Current 550i (all 4.8L) #4294
**10/2004 is the date they went from M54 to the N52 ( Your build date will be located somewhere on the drivers door jam)
Any auto parts store should have them

Model Year: 2017
I found this quote in member cokeefe's plug change in the DIY section.
Bosch FR7KPP332 or equivalent. The FR7KPP332 is the non-BMW stamped version of exactly the same plug the factory put in the car

the ngk are iridium, but what type of plug are the bosch? and how many tips do they have?
I just did the replacement myself on my 2007 550i and I used Bosch plugs. They are platinum just like the ones pictured above. I bought my plugs from the AutoPartsWorld.com. They were the same model number as OEM and are made in Germany. The plugs were $7.46 each with free shipping. Follow the link below.

After the replacement the car feels a lot stronger and no longer idles rough during cold morning starts. I hope this helps.
