Im new to this forum and to owning a bmw so please bear with me.
I just bought a 2004 545i, 6spd built in 11/03?. and loving it.
The cons are that it doesnt have nav, or bt, or an ipod adapter. So i called BMW (here in calgary) and asked the parts people if i could install these parts. She said no to the nav, no to the bt and said no to the ipod adapter. After reading some forums e60 some people have been able to add a BT and i believe someone even changed out their iDrive screen to an 8.8inch! So if at all possible, if anyone knows a real answer, please help. ohhh and yea, also today while i was driving my ddc? light came on and on the screen it said failure, please do not take sharp turns or at high speeds...or something similar to that. I then turned off the car and when i turned it back on it was gone! but it still worries me, especially coming from a 05 acura tsx where the only problem i had was front wheel drive, and power. Is this a common problem that needs a fix? or should i not worry about it?
thanks
