Can I use video function on Ipod with Ipod integration kit?

Is there any way to watch movies on my Ipod with the iDrive screen? I got the Ipod integration kit but can't watch movies on it. If the car is turned off and i'm at middle of the song then the next time I start the car again, the song starts from the beginning again, is there anyway to fix this?

Yes, we use NavwithTV to be able to achieved what you described below (see my sig). However, the video get affected by the summer heat and gets fuzzy sometimes. We (my530i and I) are trying to get the BMW ACM module to work in our US specs E60.
