you may sound very similar, but not the engine wont. ICEMAN_316 put the Eisenmann m5 race on his 550. sounds amazing, the best in my opinion. the problem here is you may suffer backpressure.
heres the pic of ICEMAN_316 with the same exhaust of the clip you posted
here is the clip of my fav. m5 e60 with Eisenmann race exhaust with section 1&2. Turn your speakers up!!!

No, you cannot .
Theorically, with some resonators it should be possible .
But you'd need to make 1000 experiments

That is just it its the RPMs that allow that high pitched f1 type sound that you see in f1 or indy cars. I LOVE that sound and makes me think of being at an indy race. Makes me have that funny feeling in my tummy haha
Your v8 will always be very throaty but oddly it is not necessarily as much to do with engine size as it is with revs determining sound.
For example al lot of the e60s with exhaust sound equally deep if not deeper depending on the setup than any of the v8 e60s people have.
People ask me all the time on the road if I have a v10 (obvious those people are totally ignorant) but more commonly they think I have some big v8 when I simply have an I6-and this was before any whining charger sound-this is simply from an AFE and remus which are on the quiet side relative to eisanman race.
But IMO here is the pinnacle of car sounds-a ferrari take off
edit-I tried to post a link but oculdnt-it was a ferrari with the kraugs something race exhaust-sounded awesome but couldnt get it to post

revs determining sound.
The sound depends on the engine, for first : the S85 sounds different from a 545i/550i at 3-4000 rpm .

its not a 1000 experiments, you just need to get a good muffler shop
