My Ride: 06 530xi stock at the moment
Default Can I lower my car?

I have a 2006 530xi stock non sport, with 19x9.5 F&R 255/30 tires. I was wanting to go with the H&R springs Front Lowering -1.4" Rear Lowering -1.3"
Just want to make sure it will not rub. thanks to all for the input.
I did do a search and no has put 19x9.5 in front.

looking at the pics, the rears should be fine, but the offset on the fronts seem pretty close, might rub the arch under load, could just be the angle.

Yeah. Some people are getting away with 255's on the front on non-M cars. All depends on the size of the wheel and offset. The OP will probably be okay on 19's provided the offset isn't too aggressive. For my car we had to install the wider "M" fenders to make the 255's fit comfortably. That was on 21" wheels with lowish offsets though.

I have a lowered E60 with 20x9.5 +18 offset with 245/35 tires. i could squeeze out another 5-7mm if I had to. I rub the plastic wheel liner, not the fender though.

answer is in the offset , or just measure .. search xi's on h&r springs before you buy..

Now that I have the M5 fenders what tire and offset should I be shooting for on the front sticking with 19's
