My friend Has a OEM MTECH kit that he took off his 2007 E60 when he sold it. Can I install it on my 2008 E60? I know his car is a Pre LCI and mine is a LCI, but what does that exactly mean? It has PDC, which I have also and it is painted exactly the same color as my car, Alpine White, which would save me alot of money. Can it be installed without complications? or will it not work at all? Any advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks again for any advice or assistance.

Generally they are interchangeable. Only the PDC hole sizes different for sport and non-sport bumpers.

pre-LCI kit to an LCI e60 is not possible due to extra brackets/reinforcement bars on the LCI model IIRC, not too mention with PDC, the LCI sensors are bigger than pre-LCI sensors...

LCI kit to pre-LCI kit is possible, as balasubas's e60 is proof of this...

generally? please specify? I assume rep kits are more forgiving than OEM kits when trying to fit a pre-LCI kit on an LCI car....but are you sure about OEM?
