My Ride: 2006 titanium silver metallic
Like new 41k
Cold Weather Package
I was thinking of doing this when I take my wheels off to change the roundels but I'll probably be to lazy. My wheels aren't as open as yours plus mine are silver so I don't know if I would get the same effect.
Lookin great though, now get that body kit!
The only thing that concerns me is that you are doing everything at once, what are you going to do next year!

So did this one last night and today. Was going to post pics, but frankly wouldn't have nay that were really all that different from AWG's. There are a few things I did notice/learn/try.
1. I struggled with masking with paper for all of about 5 minutes before just going with straight tape. I used the Blue 3M painters tape, and it all came off without a mark, definitely seemed quicker.
2. Used the paint brush from the Dupli-color kit, it is really a piece of crap, I would go with one of those sponge one if I were to do it again.
3. I was't super happy with the finish from using the brush,it seemed rough and seemed to have a lot of brush marks so since I had the caliper spray paint for the hubs I finished the calipers with one or two light coats of spray and that seemed to smooth the finish out.
4. The paint you brush on is very thin, just a heads up. I was worried that I hadn't mixed it enough etc. but it does set up quick, and seems to "thicken" well.
5. Used the time in between coats to detail the inside of my rims.
Thanks to AWG for the post and the inspiration!
