AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, too happy!!!!

Bye bye long gears!-200711221222_00890.jpg

I am expecting -1.5s from 0 to 200 (0-125 MPH) .

It is only 3.15, so -7% compared to the stock 2.93. Not so much someone could say, but I need the car to travel at high speeds .

It will be like to gain 25 HP, I think .

It was more than a year that I want to make this mod!!

I will update you about the result

Congrats alex

Did you just do a ring and pinion swap. If so, where did you find the parts. Dinan for example swaps out the entire dif.

I understand your desire for high end speed but I think you could have gone a little shorter (for mor grunt) and not compromise top end.

There are many suppliers for those parts : Koala Motorsport, Racing Dynamics, Bimmerworld, diffsonline.com etc.

I wanted -9% (3.23), but it costed $1750 instead of $700
With -15% (3.38) you would obtain a good acceleration, but it is very unconfortable at 100 MPH on the highway .
Are you the next, Al ?

Yes.

"There are many suppliers for those parts : Koala Motorsport, Racing Dynamics, Bimmerworld, diffsonline.com etc."
The best thing to do is decide which ratio you want and then mail all these suppliers asking for the price

Who did the job .. Parts arrived this morning . I scheduled the job for the first days of December .
Will see .
