I have Hawk HPS pads with OEM rotors and they seem to be ok. Stopping power is about as good as OEM with significantly less dust.

Anytime you upgrade AND can shed unsprung weight is a bonus!

Well, I don't necessarily see going to R1 concept rotors as an upgrade. Logically a two piece construction with some sort of an aluminum-like alloy in the center will save weight. Quality and performance? I cant really speak for that since I never had them. Price? I think they are close to OEM with OEM being $140 a piece (for my car - 2007 550i).

I was actually hoping for one of the vendors to provide the weights since they use these on their own cars.

07 BMW 550i

R1 Blank Rotors (Direct OE Replacement)
F: $170/pair @ ~22 lbs
R: $155/pair @ ~19 lbs

Can't speak to OE weight because I've never weighed them and don't have any around to weigh.

I am looking for the following for my 2004 525i Jan production:

1. Front pads
2. Front rotors
3. Rear pads
4. Rear rotors

The pads need to be low dust. And I don't need slotted rotors. Let me know your suggestion and price.
Thanks!
