I hope someone can confirm this for me...
The radio in my 545i has FM/AM and there is an option in the set menu to turn RDS off or on. The CD player does not recognize mp3 discs. From my somewhat extensive reading on here I believe this is a professional radio and will offer support for mp3 via a software upgrade ?
Basically I want to be able to hook up an Ipod via a mobridge unit and access the songs via the iDrive.
There is a lot of conflicting information however as many say that only a car fitted with Nav / CCC will be able to support mp3.
What's the story with this, can anyone give me a firm answer ?
