My apologies if this has been asked before, and I'm sure there is a perfectly good reason, why are the Euro spec lights cheaper than the other version listed?
I'm not 100% on this though, maybe someone else can chime in.

I have just upgraded the these from pre-LCI and really like the look, much better than the plain old lights.
The retrofit was very easy and did not require any electrical / engineering knowledge:
- remove the boot lining / carpet, take the nuts off the light mounting bolts (4) and keep.
- take out the old lights, put the new ones in, plug in the cables
- put the nuts back on the bolts
- refit the carpet / liner
- job done...
Be careful that the sticky rubber seals that come with the lights are in the right place when you put the lights in.
I will try and find some before and after photos and post them.
Also, Bruce is sound and is great at after sales care.

Look at my 2 ebay links do you notice the differences in the way they light up? This is due to the fact they use 2 different modules, which incidentaly also accounts for the difference in price. If you are really interested and ready to pull the trigger on the new look, get the cables from bruce: https://5series.net/forums/topic/947...s-group-buy-5/ If you want Euro spec tails ( yellow blinkers ) get it from Ricky: https://5series.net/forums/topic/846...spec-us-52000/ Iif you want USDM spec tails get it from Gary: https://5series.net/forums/topic/180...sory-discount/ Shipped to you door the prices are going to be about the same. OR you can go with the cheaper method go get an "enhanced" LCI look by getting Ricky's tails and harness to achieve this look: https://5series.net/forums/topic/882...&#entry1041049

BTW am I right in thinking the more expensive ebay link above is indeed the OEM look which is only achieved (without strobbing & errors) with the Bruce cables? The look with the cheaper ebay link doesn't really live up to the real thing in my opinion. I think the "enhanced" look seems a better alternative than the cheaper ebay option which doesn't properly show the lit up rods due to the light behind the rods. The whole point of the LCI tail light is the uniqueness of the lit up rods and from that point of view I can understand where the "enhanced" look comes into all this. For me I think I'll go the straight OEM look which means the must have Bruce cables.
