Default Broken rear shock mount with Bilsteins Sport shocks and Eibach Pro Kit springs

Hello All,

I just found my right rear shock mount broken and I was wondering if maybe I missed something when I installed springs and shocks. The big cup washer was on top, but there was no washer between the bottom of the shock mount and the shock. Is this correct? I think it pushed the metal bushing through the rubber mount because there was nothing between the bottom of the mount and the shock.

Also, I have read conflicting threads on whether the bump stops should be cut or even left out altogether.

Thanks in advance for any advice. Btw, the car only has 31k miles on it, so I don't think it's just a wear issue.

Nevermind. I figured it out. There was a washer on the bottom it was just in the wrong place. I'm going to check the other side while I have this one out.

Glad to hear you figured it out. I have the same set up as you do and I was told the Bilstein Sports have an internal bump stop. So I removed my OEM shocks with the bump stops still attached to it.
