My LED angel Eyes looked like shit compare to these... i'm pissed!

They may used CCFL instead of LED

PM John (brabus), he usually has deals on HID kits.
AFAIK he still doesn't have a solid solution/kit for LCI HID AE's...

I actually think the Angel iBright and Mtec are almost the same as far as brightness but they are slightly different tints of white/mild blue. I had an E46 M3 and had the Umnitza Predator Chromiums and they are nice and bright and sharp. I wanted to upgrade to the LED kit but sold it before I got a chance. Anywho I noticed my Predators were bright even in the middle of the day but my Angel iBright's were barely visible so I bought the Mtec kit thinking it would be similar to my M3 but it was pretty much the same as the iBrights. I think the fact that with the E46 M3, there are no angel eyes so you buy the ring with the lights installed on them producing a brighter and sharper light.

Sucks that it costs $150 for the M3 but $700 for us... boo!

you know that OSS mod with the LED rings, the rings themselves are pretty inexpensive, I wonder if some of our members who are familiar with taking the headlight assembly apart can do it for much less than what OSS wants for the mod.

the brighest on the market right now is HID angel eyes, but they tend to break down easily, so MTEC V2 leds are the best for the value, ERROR FREE AS WELL

+1 OSS AEs is the only brightest solution for LCI. HID AEs only work for pre-LCI. Since you drive a 545i, then go for HIDs if you're on a budget. They will give you the brightest AEs for sure. OSS LEDs is just perfection. Not only they're bright but they're crisp and sharp as hell in daytime or night time. Here's mine:

Notice that my pics were taken under broad daylight unlike the pic above was taken with some shade in front of his car that's why they look brighter than mine. Overall, this mod is the best solution for daytime visibility. GL!

I believe HID AE's only work for LCI models.
