I see the Angel Eyes on late model 3's and they are bright white, even (especially) during the day! This is what I'd like on my 550i, who knows how? I also have to mention, I've had a set of Bimmian Angel eye upgrades and have had an error message for both since I installed them. Bimmian just does not know how to fix them and they do not understand customer service, so they are going back!!

an HID kit would be close, but the light just is not distributed evenly enough IMO, that's the fault of the OEM design rather than aftermarket HID kit. AFAIK, all LED H8 AE aftermarket kits are designed for the E9x, not the e60, which is why most give error codes when installed on an e60, most vendors see 'H8 kit" and ass-u-me it will work for all models, not the case as you are experiencing first hand. I can almost guarantee they will not be as bright as you want them to be as well. The only LED AE aftermarket kit I like and have are the Lux8's (by LuxAngelEyes.com). Unfortunately they do not have an e60 kit, although I did just email them asking them to consider an e60 kit as there is a good market for them. Your other (and best IMO) option is to go with orion v2 rings, but you or someone else will have to cut open your headlights to install them.

and I just can't resist this..."search and you'll find more info"

I have the HID's and they are nowhere near close. Honestly the ONLY way I see are the LED Rings. But for that, you have to hack your headlights open bro.

Trust me, I am debating getting it done.

*** EDIT Wow, he already said what I said.

LOL ^.

But yes Dave the only option would be to get the Orion V2. Bimmian LED bulbs are terrible. They are worse then stock bulbs.
