Had these to replace my dunlop rft's (OEM 124's). Been having trouble balancing them since from the get go. The weird thing is that I only notice some body shakes for the firt 5-10 miles of driving after being in the garage for 10-12 hrs, then it is smooth afterwards. Is this common with aftermarket tires. My service advisor said that this happens when you dont go with RFT's, which I know is bullcrap. Anybody had experience this. This is driving me crazy. Thanks!

Have you tried a third party tire shop? Maybe the balance is off or there might be a flaw with your 124's. Might have damage of some sort. Im not running RFT's, and mine are running normal.

Flat spots can develop on tires when left sitting for long periods. 10-12 hours isn't normal, more like several days. What size tires are they? What psi are you running? Any wheel issues? Lots of us on here have 124s w/ aftermarket non-RFT tires, so this isn't to be expected or accepted. Might want to try another dealer.

Been running 35 psi for the fronts and 38 psi for the rears and no wheel issues as far as I know. Had my 17 mile commute this am and did not feel the vibration that I felt yesterday, weird but will see again tonight on my way home. Sometimes I wonder if it is all in my mind or have I just got accustomed to the ride and noise that my previous RFT had. These tire are definitely softer and have alot more rubber compared to the RFT's.

Well, that's a normal psi and those Bridgestones are a quality tire. One thing to consider is that new tires have much thicker tread and sometimes will feel "wiggly" for a while, especially if the previous tires were well worn. I'd give it a few more drives and see if it reappears. It could also just be the tire's bead seating against the wheel. GL.

On my previous car I had Bridgetone tires that did something similar. The shop couldn't get them to balance properly. It turned out that the tires were detective, the steel belts or something. Take them back to where you purchased them and see what they say.

Hey I just got Michelin PS2's installed, I noticed that the car seems to need constant adjustment at freeway speed to keep in a straight line, does this mean I need balancing or alignment? I get no vibration.

Most likely alignment. Have you double checked the tire pressure?

It does sound like alignment but the alignment should not go out just because you put on new tires. I assume you had no "pulling" with the old tires just before the new tires were put on. Let us know if you solve the puzzle. I just got the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S PLUS. Anxious to see how they feel...

I have about 36 to 37psi all around. Before I had the fronts to about 31 psi and it didn't feel right, lots of dead center feel. When I added pressure (up to 36) it helped a lot.

Now I feel like the car wants to go to the right a little instead of straight.
