I'm in the market for a new set of wheels for mt Orient blue 545. i'm thinking about going to 19's. Which wheel do you think would look better and be be more durable on the streets of NY? Which finish do you guys recommend on an orient Blue?? Bright silver, Matte Grey or black painted. Thanks for the input!!

The first wheel looks nicer to me. The other reminds me too much of that classic BBS design which I don't personally like.

And you can't go wrong with silver

My vote is for the first one because I like wheels with a lip... I checked Tire Rack to see the silver finish versus the matte grey, and I say the matte grey would be very unique! Have you considered maybe getting 20"s?

I love the look of 20's but the City streets here in NY make that impossible. Getting the 19's is gonna be difficult enough if you know what I mean. Thanks for the input guys. I looked at the matte grey finish a second time on tirerack but i'm not liking the red stripe. hmmmm......

i remember another member planning to get the 2nd pair. if you get the 1st pair, id say get 20s in my opinion due to the lip.

Good point.....the lip makes the wheel look smaller..... I can't go 20's for reasons i've mentioned on earlier posts...Would the wheel with the lip be more of a headache with potholes?? Thanks

I totally agree about not liking the red pinstriping on the matte grey wheels... especially for your orient blue 545.. Do they offer it without the red stripe? I thought maybe that was just an option/sample pic.
