I thort that the M cars brakes are made from Brembo???

Its about time the M cars got some better brakes.

I believe 135i is the first bimmer to get six-piston calipers.

Here is pic of the 135i calipers, notice the Brembo emblem.

people get all caught up in the marketing of 6, 8 10, 20 piston brakes. There is a balance in brake sysems, and having more pistons isnt always the answer. having brembo supplying oem brakes is a good thing, but they too, are a company that heavily rides on their marketing success.

that cool on a 135i.
I hope they will have them in the new F10 any model
you are right itis not good to have too many piston on a street car.
you may stop very fast but the person behind will hit you

Yep, its a matter of time before they are on other models, like the 335i.

Brembo's are sweet brakes...my GT500 came with them and they do slow you down in a hurry. I don't know how many pistons they have though...is there an easy way to tell by looking at the calipers

Cool, maybe now BMW will powder coat the calipers or somehow paint them so the finish actually looks nice...

na BMW will not do that, if they do they they boost up the price more.
just like MB AMG I think they be silver with a Big M-Power on it then it will look cool
