hi..
my DMS 353d sport looks fab. moves like a 747 in the run way.. and corners like a dream.. but lets discuss brakes.. i want some bad ass drilled and groved, ventelated disks with some fancy brembo or ebc pads and calipers... can anybody help me find out about brakes.. all i can find is standard replacements.. and i've had my car 8 months and changed the pads all round once and now the fronts are down again.. so fancy spending some cash to fit some plush brakes..
Let me know if u can help guys.. thanks..

353 must be new model with XXS brakes
Seriously, if you want to improve braking start with the pads. Instead of some "tuner" product like EBC, etc...take a serious brand like Pagid, Ferodo or Hawk. My passion is racing and I can tell you from both road and track experience that these are good manufacturers.
Pads can dramatically improve braking performance as well as stamina because OEM pads are designed for comfort (Noise Vibration Harshness) and not for extended high temperature use. As a next step buy some decent rotors (Brembo, Tarox, ATE etc..). As a last step consider calipers, but these are excessively expensive and IMO not worth the money for a street car.
However, if you wear out your fronts twice in 8 months, you are:
a) tracking your car every other weekend
b) a cabbie
c) driving with you foot on the brake pedal
I don't go easy on my car but my OEM pads last way longer.

Where are you from? Reason I ask is that you can get AP brakes for the e60, 6 pots with 362mm disks. However I believe they only supply to Europe - but I could ask on Wednesday as I'll be at their offices. They used my car for their e60 front test bed, and now it's going back in to get sized up for 4 pots at the rear
Here's a pic of my brakes being 'worked'
