Brake Pads Question.
Hi I have 05 BMW 545i. I need to change the front brakes and pads. What kind of pads I should buy? Low dust and quite are my first option.
Anyone Any Suggetions?
thanks

definitely like the suggestion Newrweezy made...I think for STREET only... for track use no ... stick with a track pad for track... and DUST from track use is definitely gonna happen.. but the cool carbons are great for everyday use... be be aggressive
Hawk HPS Pads hands down and they include sensors. I've personally sold tons of sets on e60. You can't go wrong. Less dust than OEM but better bite.
Hawk HPS Pads (Inc. Sensors)
Front - $100
Rear - $75

I recommend checking out the Stoptech Street Performance Brake Pads. These are the same pads used in their BBKs...a great semi-organic pad for use on the street and is also track friendly.

I have the axxis deluxe pads which work fine, however this forum seems to be moving away from them. I've heard good things about the Hawk pads and also akebono pads.

Yeah but the amount of dust in 200 miles is most likely equivalent to the amount of dust you would build up in a day with stock pads. Stock pads soooo suck.
