As far as stopping power and fade resistance go, I am very satisfied with the OEM pads on my 550. I can't think of a tpugher test on brake pads within 3 hours on NYC than the mountain hairpins of Pa State Route 125 and my brakes have performed beautifully and fade free on all of my runs on that road. Of course, OEM pads are as dusty as hell. Is there any aftermarket pad that has all of the stopping power of the OEM pads without their bizzard of brake dust?
Yes the Hawk HPS pads are designed for this purpose. Better braking power than OEM, low noise and low dust. Did you see John's review of them when I sent him the Hawks?
