How do you chnage the the brake pad sensor on the E60? One part of the sensor goes into the pad but where does the other end of the sensor go? is it an easy job?

My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.

When the pads are changed, the sensor will and must be changed at the same time!

The iDrive (pad sensors) tells you when the pads have to be replaced.
