My car has done 17,0000miles and the idrive is showing the front pads need changing. Ive already bought EBC pads, but will the brake pad sensor need changing or can i use my existing one?

wow do you drive/brake hard? I didnt think anyone drove harder than me-I needed an oil change at like 11k and I am on par to have brakes-fronts changedat 20k or so and that is with hard driving-I think normally they last until 30-just curious why pads went so quickly? And also if your pads are worn you dont need to change out the sensors. Just the pads unless your sensors aint working of course

I've got greenstuff pads, changed out the sensors in the front because of failure message that didn't reset via I-drive.
I had to go to the dealer to reset the error message. My advice: When you replace pads, replace sensors at the same time to avoid reset problems.
