My Ride: 2013 M5 - Sakhir Orange / Black Leather.
I am taking my car in Monday to my dealer to have the calipers professionally powdercoated. The calipers are removed and the pistons taken out and then they're shipped to a local guy who does the actual powdercoating. I'm putting stainless steel brakelines on while the calipers are off.
Question - what color should I do the calipers? Gloss back is the safe choice. Is red too gaudy?

Black, on E60, would be better, like M5 calipers .

I think painting stock calipers is kind of cheesy.. I did it myself but I painted them silver which is the stock color.. other then silver black would be my only other choice.. painting stock cali?s is such a brembo rip.. yes it will look nice but why try to glorify something that isn't so amazing.. I know some will disagree however I just feel brake calipers that are painted yellow or red or any "flashy" color should be up to the caliber of its look.. I am not saying BMW's stock brakes aren't good just not something that I would show off..but doing what I did, enhancing the look and making it cleaner is something I can understand..
