From doing a good amount of research and reading online, I'm thinking my brake booster is shot. Pedal is stiff/hard and braking safety is compromised.
How much should I be expecting to pay for parts and labor at the stealership?

Should I pay for an aftermarket part and just have them do labor instead? Need some advice, asap. I'm taking the car in a.m., asap.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Thumbs down

You're better off with a BMW re-manufactured booster if that's what you need. IMHO it's too important a part to trust to aftermarket. I have no idea on prices.

Thanks for the input. Where do you suggest I acquire a remanufactured one? Thanks in advance.

have you checked to make sure that you have vacuum at the hose going to the booster from the engine?

No I haven't. Is that easy to check for?
