Thumbs up

Has anyone installed the Borla exhaust on a 530i?

I'm looking to replace the stock exhaust with one that is not too loud but has a nice deep sound to it.

I've heard Borla is a good choice for that. I've read a lot of posts about the B&B, Remus, and some Eisenmann. But what about the Borla?

And how do the various exhausts available for the E60 rate on a scale for loudness and deepness of the sound?

Thanks.

Last I knew, Borla does not have a bolt-on application for the e60.
That would have been my 1st choice (having had other Borla exhausts in the past) but I am Very happy with my B&B

I found this on Borla's site: http://www.borla.com/applications/lookup.a..._System/140113/

It's a Cat-Back system and looks completely bolt-on (install guide attached). No sound clips though. I know Borla usually has the sound i'm looking for, but I don't know about a cat-back exhaust.

What do you guys think?

How do you like your Eisenmann? How does it compare on the sound spectrum? I'm looking at the Eisenmann dual aswell. Thanks.

Send us a sound bite when you get installed. So far, all we have to compare on V8 is B&B and Remus, IIRC.

Looks like I am wrong (yet again ). Actually the application is for the 530 but NOT the 545. It is a FULL cat back system. For that $$ it looks like a great deal!! Just need them to come out with one for the V8 now (and the V10 ).
