Hmmm, haven't seen that type of modded taillight before on the E60. Pretty intresting what it did to the look of the horizontal tubes within the light and catching the black of the tin at the outer ends.
Doesn't look terrible, but - IMO - would need to be polished/buffed to a shine to look great - don't leave it the flat/matte look of the spray as-is.

I agree 100 percent It does look cheap! it also doesnt have the effect I was looking for I thought by masking certain parts of the tailight it would look better, the intention was to get those thin line to be darker than the rest of the tailight giving seperation of the bigger sections so it would stand out more. it just didnt do what I expected. I worked hard on the masking, took like 3 hours getting it perfect, lining it up, adjusting, cutting the circle area where the line ended Oh well Now I need to clean it off...........I need to get LCI tails no doubt about it

I had pre-lci lights painted with a black paint by someone, and he sprayed it in the open so it got debris in it. I had it on for a while but got tired of it after a while. If you are going to spray them at least clear them, it would look better. But I went with LCI tailights(OEM) and think it looks much better, I decided not to tint them either since they look so nice by themselves.

thats the prob with vht nightshade, tough to get anything other than a blacked out look. I think smoked turn signals looks good if done properly but imo lci with no tint is the way to go amigo
