I want to confirm that Boge Automatic and Sachs Super Touring are identical shocks with the twin tube (internal) design found on the E60 545i and the OEM BMW (Sachs/Boge) front struts.

The advantage, is that the Boge can run as much as 20% less than Sachs on a delivered basis in the States.
Rockauto.com ships Boge automatics from the UK, and they are about 20% less than state side Sachs Super Touring. So keep Boge Automatics on the shopping list.
OEM BMW: 31316766997
Sachs Super Touring: 310 464
Boge Automatics: 36-C85-A
