Nice job. Looks good. I continue to keep mine stuffed in between the passenger seat the the console as I did in the E39. Out of the way and practically out of sight. I rarely use it. It's mostly for my passengers.

Yvesj: I like it so much that I ordered one right after I saw your post. Where did you get the black fasteners?

The Ice is right, no "mounting spots".
It's a custom job, drilled 2 holes, used plastic screws and nuts, and black screw covers.
The hard part, if you don't want to disassemble the whole dashboard, is to slip your hand with nut and washer BEHIND the trim.

Pharding:
Bought the little screw covers at Lowe's.
I did not know they existed, it looks like a black plastic washer with raised edge that forms a little housing where the screw head gets encased.
It is connected to a little tongue (no dirty jokes please ) attached to a cover that pops right on top of the housing.
Lowe's also had plastic screws and nuts of the right size in the same area of the store.
Blackonblackonblack:
There are 4 screws holding the trim, 1 on the left and 3 on the ceiling of the footwell.
With these out, you're able to separate the trim just enough to slip your hand behind.
Be careful when you drill, stop the penetration as soon as you get through.
There is "stuff" behind there!
