However, to avoid guessing game, grab signal from output of the amp in the trunk and feed it to line-out converter, and to the amp. I bought input level adjustable LOC for $15.

Hi 530,
I'm going to do subs in the rear deck.
How much room is under the seats if I take those subs out? And does the cover plate have to be reinstalled? I'd like to puts amps under the seats for front speakers. Do the factory subs fit in a pod? Can the pod be removed?
