I just bought a pair of roofbars on e-bay. Got a really good deal on them (only 85 euros through e-bay) But unfortunately they have to be sent from Londen to my place in the netherlands wich is costing me 50 euros!!! Aaaarrgh.. Anyway. It's still a better deal then getting them at the dealership.

Are they easy to put on the car?

Hahaha.. that's a nice one.. At the same time I will show them my new winterwheels that I did not buy at their dealership!!!

If I do that I won't get any service at all anymore!

I'm planning to get a pair - that seems like a good deal.

If they are as easy to put on as the ones I had (still have) for my last BMW (E36 Coupe) then you won't have any problem as they are made to be installed and removed quickly. You don't want to leave them on your car all the time.

What I want to know is whether my BMW bicycle supports will fit the E60 rack. I think they will but not certain.

Dennis, have them delivered to my place and I'll take them over for free. I drive over every week and trucks are going to and fro every day..
My London distribution company can even pick them up for you if you like.

This service is offered by Flower Freight Ltd free of charge to all E60.net members. (ish).

Hey that is very cool of you! He lives in Wouldham, Kent ME1 3XE wich should be very near to london I think.

I'll ask the guy if someone can pick them up. I'll get back to you on this asap! If pickup is a problem I will have them sent to you by the english mail (saves me 20 pounds anyway).

Can you e-mail me your business adress?

530E60NL:
I bought a set from the dealer, they are very easy to put on. As a matter of fact
SkiSubaSailDude did a full photo essay on putting them on. I am sure you can find it in the "search" section. FYI, the "surfboard" attachment is really a sailboard attachment.
