Chrome is definitely used here in so cal maybe not as much on BMWs

There should be plenty of local places around you that chrome stock wheels. With all the EPA laws here in California, we have a lot less now.

Just kidding OP. You'll find that most people here are not into chrome. However, once in awhile there are posts of E60s with chrome wheels that do look nice. In the end, if it looks good to you, that's all that matters.

Actually it should be said that most people on this board don't like it. Just because most of the people on this board don't like it does not mean most the people out in the world don't either.



Kind of like the black out treatment, for some it is great but for others on some cars it is a little too extreme.

Actually, the original reason I asked was because the caps on my wheels are dirty and fading and I would like to replace them. Hate to tell you but I would've been happy with the wheels the 545i comes with (Sport Pkg), but this car already had these chrome ones and I love em. Here's a quick pic.

Do you mean the center caps? If so contact member Nerweezy, I think Trinity Autosport sells them in your choice of colors.
