Hi guys,

I have just purchased a M5 cluster for my 545i changed it over today it all works fine however I have one problem. The problem is my original clocks car mileage display is in Miles and the M5's is in Kilometers, I have not yet changed the memories over however I am hoping to change them over next week. I hope changing the memories over will cure the problem? Can you guys please tell me if any of you have had this problem and can shed any light?

Thanks

Hey Jags, Even if you swap the memory chip, the needles for speed wont be calibrate correctly. So if you go 50 MPH, it'll show lower than 50 MPH or something along those lines. You will need to re-program the cluster by doing Andy545's method. He did a swap while in the middle of the cluster upgrade and dealer is programming it.

Hey, I can code and program it even calibrating: see my feedback: https://5series.net/forums/topic/89727-miguex/

If you couldn't find a specialist to do in your place or Europe, you can to send me (Canada) the cluster to reset the chip (no need to swap the chip) then I send it back to you then you go to the dealer will code it for you.
